What is a museum?

National Slate Museum is closed for a big redevelopment project and the collections are on the move! How do you record and catalogue collections? How do we package artefacts? What is the process of moving a museum?

You will also be able to colour a slate to take home, and we will be sharing plans ‘hot off the press’ for the redeveloped museum!
