take pART is back on the 11th and 12th January!
Returning to Venue Cymru our annual arts, literature and science event returns with some amazing workshops and events.
From arts and crafts to dance and drama, there is something for all ages.

Handy Tips for take pART Visitors
- Doors will open to the public 9.45am.
- Workshops will run between 10am and 4pm, with our Grand Finale starting at 4.05pm in the Arena.
- Some workshops can be booked in advance via our website. - For the workshops that require participants to ‘sign up on the day’, this can be done from 9.45am. Sign up will be on a first come, first served basis.
- The sign-up sheets will be located on the door of the workshop (please refer to the map on the schedule)
- The maximum capacity of a workshop is outlined on the sheet, and cannot be exceeded. If a named participant doesn’t arrive for the start time, the place will be opened up to someone else after 5 minutes of the start time.
- Other workshops and activities will be ‘drop in’ and you can just turn up and take pART on the day.
- Children who are of Primary School age need to be accompanied by an adult at all times. The exception to this is for Aardman, where we ask participants to refer to their tickets / our website.
- Photography & Videography will take place throughout the day, if you or your child cannot be filmed, please report to Reception who will issue you with a badge, that our photographers are aware of. - Please make your children aware that all of our staff will be wearing Bright Yellow Jumpers, and will always be happy to help.
- Any lost children will be escorted to our Main Reception. Bracelets will be available for you to write your phone number on and attach to your child at our Reception.
- We will have multiple catering facilities, selling snacks, sandwiches and drinks all day. Hot food such as Pizza, Hot Dogs and Chips will be available from just £2 per item
- If you are visiting our Variety Show or Cyw this weekend, please be aware there will be NO prams or car seats allowed in the auditorium, and we have nowhere to store these. Please leave your prams in the car wherever possible.
- There will be QR codes throughout the building access the schedule, our website and to donate to Conwy Arts Trust, without whom we could not run take pART. Spare change is always accepted J
- take pART attracts 10000+ people over the weekend, so please be mindful of this when parking, pay attention to tariffs and parking restrictions, as well as leaving yourself plenty of time.
